AIDA Insulin Preparations

(Re)-Load AIDA Frames / Menus

The following insulin preparations are available for simulation with AIDA v4 and 'AIDA on-line'. Please use the menu below to access further details. An option is provided (in red) to interactively simulate an example case scenario for each category of insulin preparation, using AIDA on-line.

onset 0.5 - 1 hour / duration up to 8 hours / peak 1 - 3 hours

e.g. Regular, Actrapid, Humulin S, Humulin R, Velosulin, Velosulin R, Pur-In Neutral, Hypurin Neutral, Novolin R

Lantus / glargine is not yet available for simulation with AIDA v4 or 'AIDA on-line'

However if you wish to be informed when these facilities becomes available - please enter your email id below. You will be signed up to the AIDA diabetes simulator registration / announcement list. Subscribers to this list will automatically receive an email announcement when the option to simulate Humalog / lispro and/or Lantus / glargine are added. Traffic on this list is low / virtually non-existent, apart from very occasional, official announcements from the AIDA developers.
